Wonderful Wednesday at AGS!

Mrs. Schafer's Foods and Nutrition Classes have been holding the annual Pork Chopped Tournament. Students form teams and are challenged to prepare a meal in one hour with a basket of three mystery ingredients. They are given a cut of pork, a fresh ingredient and packaged ingredient. Each class competes to determine the class champ and then the two class champs compete for the school title. This year's battle was epic. The B2 champs, the Crust Queens, took on B3 champs, the Sizzle Squad, to determine the School Pork Chopped Champion. The Crust Queens prevailed is this very close finale. Congratulations to all the champions! You impressed us with your culinary skills. Thank you to the Illinois Pork Producers for providing a generous grant for the pork used in this competition.

IESA Solo & Ensemble results for AGS

Drama club wants to shout out to our mob wife.
Hi, I am Dakota Campe. This is my first production with the ACHS drama club and I am so excited to be a part of the show! I play Juror #6, an Italian wife to juror #5 who is very flashy. She is always right and her husband is always wrong. Outside of theatre I love listening to music and going for bike rides. I hope you enjoy the show this weekend!

Today we are shouting out our Jury foreman.
Hi, my name is Annabelle Fritcher. You might recognize me from playing Rhonda in "Almost, Maine," or from just overly committing to the bit. In "12 Incompetent Jurors," I play the Foreman—an improv enthusiast who is a little… eccentric. When I’m not acting, I enjoy making fancy coffee drinks and looking at memes on Pinterest. I’ve enjoyed working with our cast and directors this year, and I hope you enjoy the show!

Drama Club wants to shout out our scariest juror.
My name is Emma Long and I'm an actor. I love art and nature. I played Steve from Almost, Maine. This year I play Juror #9, a creepy and unnerving guy with a love for french fries. I hope you come see me in 12 Incompetent Jurors.
