After this date, parents/guardians will need to visit their respective school offices to register their students. The AEF supports our students and teachers with scholarships and mini-grants. Come join in on the fun and support a group that supports ACUSD#10!

The fourth grade took the top 3 students from each class to Andrews for ice cream that had the most AR points the whole year. (Not pictured: Bo Hovis and Andee Huddlestun) We also celebrated our perfect attendance students.

Students in Mrs. Schafer's Foods classes enjoyed an end of year treat with the pork grilling lab. Thanks to a generous grant provided by the Illinois Pork Producers, they enjoyed baby back ribs, pork steak and pork burgers. They learned a life skill and got to enjoy some pretty tasty food.

📚🎭 Students in Literature II at ACHS recently brought Shakespeare to life through activities centered around *Julius Caesar*!🎭📚
Students had the opportunity to recite Marc Antony’s famous “Friends, Romans, Countrymen” speech, showcasing their public speaking and interpretation skills. They also created creative and informative “Trading Cards” featuring characters from the play, highlighting character traits, alliances, and important details from the story.
Great job to our students for their creativity, effort, and engagement with this classic work of literature! 👏📝

Tonight, ACHS recognized the 6 senior members of our Track and Field team at the Ellis Invite.

This week, students in Mrs. Schafer's Introduction to Family and Consumer Science classes had their second food preparation lab, Fruits and Vegetables. Lab groups made Fruit Pizza, Vegetable Stir-fry with Chicken, Snickers Apple Salad and Broccoli Cauliflower Salad. They learned about selecting, storing and preparing fruits and vegetables, while practicing kitchen safety and sanitation. Many of them are looking forward to taking Foods and Nutrition Class next year!
