"You'll never be bored when you try something new. There's really no limit to what you can do."
-Dr. Seuss
Mrs. Miller's class enjoyed hat day!

A big shout out to members of ACHS FCCLA that collected items to support Crisis Nursery of Effingham County. Items were collected from the last week of January to February 19th. Mrs. Schafer was able to deliver them in person last Wednesday.

Mrs. Barnick’s class has been learning about chain reactions and got to make their own!

Altamont Grade School finished our annual Book Fair week with Mystery Readers and it was another SUCCESS! Several teachers and adults from our school environment wore inflatable costumes and read two pages from random books. Students then tried to guess who each one was. Then - as students chanted "Take It Off" - readers came out and revealed who they were. It was a blast and they were able to guess several of the readers!! Huge shout out to those who read for us!

It is Happy Fry Day🍟! Wishing everyone a great day & wonderful weekend!🍟

Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th grade students were feeling the beat with the ACHS Drumline for the February Wildcat Way behavior celebration. Thank you drumline for the awesome performance!

A huge "THANK YOU" to members of ACHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes for donating over 75 items to the El Shaddai home in Effingham serving pregnant women and their children in Effingham County.

Mrs. Schafer's Introduction to FACS classes completed their apron and pillow sewing projects this quarter. Each student pinned, cut and constructed their individual projects with fabric and notions they selected. Many of them will use their aprons for future cooking labs this year and in Foods and Nutrition classes. Fantastic job ACHS!

Thank you Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures program for donating toothbrushes and toothpaste to our 1st graders! Happy dental health month!
