💥 BEN ROEDL put on a performance for the ages:
🥉 3rd in Long Jump
🥈 2nd in High Jump
🥇 1st in Triple Jump — STATE CHAMPION!!
This makes Ben’s showing the best single performance by a male athlete in Altamont history — and with it, he surpasses 1,000 career points. 🔥👏
🏃♂️ HAYDEN SUMMERS brought the heat in the 300m Hurdles, finishing 6th in the state! 💪
🎖️ Both are officially ALL-STATE ATHLETES!
To top it all off...
🏆 The team finished 5th overall — the highest finish ever for Altamont boys track (to our knowledge)!

On Olympic lap days in PE they can run as little or as much as they would like! These are the top runners from grades 1st - 6th grade! All of these had over 20 miles! Wyatt & Rhett had over 25 miles!! Thanks to Joe's Pizza for helping us with prizes for these students!
Reading is sweet, the fourth grade top 3 AR readers in each class enjoyed a treat!

Our kindergarten friends had a fun day at the Scovill Zoo! We enjoyed seeing all the animals, riding the train and carousel, and eating a picnic lunch together! A big thank you to our parent chaperones for helping us have a great time.

These first graders were soaking up the sun with their books & beach towels!
ACHS Student Council wrapped up the school year with lots of activities! Last week they hosted a Fun Day for all the students that included a tug of war competition between classes and a couple rounds of Head, Shoulders, Knees and Cup! Then, they had their end of the year trip to Irons in Vandalia and along with their end of the year pizza, ice cream and awards party! Student Council is already looking forward to next school year! 🧡🖤
This week at FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, huddle we celebrated the graduating seniors. Pictured L to R, Gabby Weishaar, Sophia Pearcy, Makaylee Splechter and Keegan Schultz. We played Cups one last time this year and Nate Lurkins came out on top. We'll be meeting one more time, next Thursday during AP IN Mrs. Schafer's room.
