
NHS blood drive in the Altamont High School gym. September 30th, 8:15 AM to 2:00 PM.


ACHS staff enjoyed a potluck lunch to celebrate September birthdays before getting to work on their inservice activities.



Altamont Boys Golf Team shot a 188 at St. Elmo Golf Club Thursday. Leading the team was Joel Bauer with a 46 and both Hayden Summers and Tyler Ruffner shortly after him with a 47 each. Alex Walker shot a 48, Kamryn Wolfert shot a 51, and Charlie Goeckner shot a 55.
Altamont did beat Shelbyville 188 to 195. Will Nohren from Shelbyville was the match medalist with a 43. Joel Bauer and Hampton Petska from Shelbyville tied for the match medalist runner up with a 46.


Altamont Girls Golf Team shot a 234 at St. Elmo Golf Club Thursday. Leading the team was Sophia Pearcy with a 52 and Gabby Weishaar shortly behind her with a 54. Cecilia Pearcy shot a 61, and Emma Sphar shot a 67.
Sophia Pearcy was the match medalist.


Altamont Boys Golf Team shot a 193 at Fore-Way Golf Course Thursday at the Effingham (St. Anthony) JV Invitational. Leading the team was Evan Elam with a 44 and Owen Reardon shortly after him with a 46. Kaiden Wolff shot a 48, Cooper Hankins shot a 55, and Dayton Tabbert shot a 67.

VOLLEY FOR A CURE! Altamont Lady Indians will take on the Dieterich Movin' Maroons on Thursday, October 3rd starting at 5:00pm (F/S, JV, Varsity). Every year, we cooperate with Dieterich to raise money for local families who are fighting a tough battle with cancer. Below is the link to purchase t-shirts for the evening. Orders are due by September 20th at noon. No late orders will be accepted. Orders will be distributed on game day.

UPDATE! Change to tonight's baseball game: Due to field conditions, the JV game will be cancelled, but we will still have the varsity game at 7pm. Seniors will be recognized at 6:30pm, varsity game will follow.
