NTC Boys Basketball Tournament is in full swing! Lots of great competition and funs games to witness! Below is the updated tournament bracket as well as scores from the previous nights games.

There will be an informational Trap/Skeet Meeting for grades 7-12 on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 @ 6:00 PM in the ACHS Cafeteria. Students from both AGS & ALIS are invited to attend.

ACHS Girls Basketball announcement: There will only be one game on Monday, January 27th against Ramsey. There will be no JV game, it will be varsity only starting at 6pm.

As we read Beowulf in British Literature, students participate in "Anglo-Saxon Games" to learn new concepts. Today, they had fun exploring tone by sorting adjectives into three piles: positive, negative, and neutral. It was fun to see them compete and discuss how adjectives can reflect an author's attitude toward different subject matter.

They’re getting hands-on experience with the tools of the trade and developing the skills that will help bring their ideas to life. Two weeks of basketball fun coming right up! First up, the girls NTC Tournament January 20th-January 25th. Next we will have the 89th Annual NTC Boys Tournament January 27th-February 1st. Both brackets are below!

We’re excited to announce the ticket sales for our upcoming NTC Boys Basketball Tournament, Monday, January 27-Saturday, February 1! Here are the key details to keep in mind: Black Seat Sales Start Date/Time: Tickets will go on sale starting Saturday, January 18th, 9:00am-10:30am in the ACHS Office. First Come, First Serve: Please note that tickets will be available on a first come, first serve basis, so we encourage you to act quickly! Ticket Limit: Each person may purchase up to 4 black seats. Full Week Purchase: Tickets must be purchased for the entire week. $49 for the week. Cash or check only. Credit cards not accepted. Open to All: This sale is open to the entire public, not just current black seat holders. Everyone is welcome! Individual Sessions: Starting Tuesday, January 21st, you can call the high school office to purchase individual session tickets based on availability. (618-483-6193) Bleacher Seats: Please note that bleacher seats are general admission and will be available for purchase at the gate on game day. ATTENTION! The ACHS boys basketball game that was scheduled for tonight has been canceled and is tentatively rescheduled for Thursday, January 23rd. The F/S boys also have a home game that night against Neoga, starting at 5pm. Boys JV and Varsity will then take on Dieterich with JV at 6pm, followed by varsity.

Due to the current poor weather conditions, all extracurricular activities scheduled for Friday, January 10, 2025, have been CANCELLED. We appreciate your understanding and will provide information on rescheduling these events at a later date.

ACHS Boys and Girls Basketball will take on Woodlawn tomorrow, January 11th at Woodlawn. We will continue to monitor weather and road conditions to ensure the safety of our teams and bus drivers.

ACHS Sports 1/13-1/18

Attention Lady Indian fans!!! The game against South Central tomorrow, January 9th has been canceled. South Central has call off school for tomorrow, so in an effort to be cautious, they also have canceled the game. We will now play South Central on Wednesday, February 5th at South Central at 6pm for a JV and Varsity matchup.

DATE CHANGE! Scholar Bowl fans, take note: the match scheduled for Thursday, January 9th at Neoga has been moved to Monday, January 13th. Start time will stay the same (5:30pm) at Neoga. We will face both Neoga and South Central. Come out and support our Scholar Bowl team!
