Michael Flynn, Trump’s former national security adviser, pleads guilty to lying to the FBI. Many Americans have been watching this case unfold along with the rest of the Trump administration. Although Donald will not disclose how much he really knew about the scandal, prosecuters say that Flynn was being lead by a “very senior member” of the presidents transition team to discuss UN resolution, Mike Pence being the leader of the transition team.
The country has been searching for an answer as to how Trump could gain such an unexpected victory, and Mr. Flynn’s guilty plea could have all the answers wrapped up in a bow for the media to tear open like a child on Christmas morning. Multiple people on Trump’s teams knew about the deals being made, leading to a great possibility Trump knew aswell, not to my surprise.
Mr. Flynn’s agreement to cooperate helps us understand why Trump was so defensive when the investigation on Flynn started back in February whye Flynn was fired. Flynn has promised posecuters with any information needed, which gives Trump a motive to stop Flynn’s revealing the web of involvement within Trump’s very own team. How deep does Flynn’s knowledge go? What I want to know is how long it will take until the next official pleads guilty.

There has been a need for more gun safety after the recent attacks; for example, the Las Vegas incident last month. Many questions arise. How can we make this country safe again? Is there a way we can make gun laws more stict so we don’t have problems like this?
I am all for the right to bare arms as long as the gun is used properly and for the right reasons. Don’t use a gun just for show. Did you know that if you were a domestic abuser, on the terror watchlist, and/or blind, it’s not that hard for you to get a gun? There are so many loopholes in our “gun eligibility” standards you need to meet in order to get a gun.
I want it to be harder for people like that to get a firearm. I want more strict gun laws for people to feel safe when going out somewhere. When Trainwreck came out in 2015, a movie theater in Lafayette, Louisiana was shot up 20 minutes after the movie finished. The shooter murdered 21-year old Mayci Breaux and 33-year old Jillian Johnson. He was a domestic abuser.
Background checks are not enough. A psychological evaluation should be included in order to get a gun. More laws need to be put in place now. People shoudln't have to lose their lives because of the loopholes in the system. How many people have to be slaughtered before the government wakes up and realize this needs to be fixed?

Nearing the 20 game mark in the NBA, many eventful things have happened thus far. Boston has erupted on a 15 game win streak. Everyone in Philly is Trusting the Process. LeBron took back his throne. The Warriors are searching for back to back championships.
The Boston Celtics had one of the most tragic beginnings to any season in NBA history. The organization spent the entire offseason acquiring pieces to blend and mold with their superstars, Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward. This idea of a dynamic duo and a powerhouse in the East looked like a fairytale after Gordon Hayward broke his leg during a play at the rim in the season opener against the Cavaliers. This triggered an 0-2 start, and seemed to be the tempo for the season. The Celtics found their groove behind the reins of Uncle Drew and other contributing bodies such as Jayson Tatum, Al Horford, and Jaylen Brown, making a huge statement with a 15 win streak, which is still active to this date.
Joel Embiid used the term “Trust the Process” that season. He was telling the fans not to worry, the 76er’s time is coming. With only being 1 game above .500, is their time actually here? There have been many highlights throughout the season consisting of triple doubles by Ben Simmons or outrageous scoring number by Embiid, but this hasn’t contributed to the amount of wins as the team would like. With an average player age of below 25 years, I do believe the 76ers will be a top 5 team in the league. This season isn’t the season I believe that will happen.
LeBron James is nearing the end of his prime with his age being 33 years starting December 30th. The role LeBron has taken this year for his cavaliers team is unquestionably bizarre. LeBron has seen an increasing amount of minutes at the Point Guard position as to his normal Small or Power Forward position. Lebron is averaging 37.4 minutes a game with a triple double stat line to go with it. His averages are 28.6points, 8.1 rebounds, and 8.5 assists. The Cavaliers play in the East and the East is fairly easy to make the playoffs, so LeBron should have no problem getting there once Isaiah Thomas returns.
Your 2016-2017 NBA Champions haven’t lost a single asset to their roster. If anything, they gained another shooter and role player with the acquisition of Swaggy P. The 2016-2017 Defensive Player of the Year and All NBA Third Team selection, Draymond Green, is picking up right where he left off last season. Draymond tends to take over in any stat category that Steph or Durant don’t. Whether it is Rebounds, Steals, Blocks, or kicking people in the groin. The Warriors are still a super team, and will be for the next couple years, making championship run after championship run.

Americans love television. There’s no doubt about that. These days, people are binge-watching, spending hours in front of the tv, watching two to six episodes of a series at a time. Is all that tv really good for your health? Let’s see if your parents were right in telling you to go play outside rather than watch tv all day.
A recent survey by Netflix found that 61 percent of people in a survey said that they binge watch television regularly. Well, for obvious reasons, staring at a tv all day is not good for your eyes. But did you know that watching television has been linked to obesity for decades. It turns out sitting on the couch for hours at time is not good for weight or bones. Participants in 2003 survey showed a 23% higher chance of becoming obese.
A recent study by Harvard School of Public Health showed that adults that view more than 2 hours of TV daily have an increased chance of type 2 diabetes and heart disease. The study also showed that for each additional two hours increased the chances by 15-20 percent. A different study said that it could also lead to lower odds of surviving colon cancer.
There was another study published in the Journal of American Heart Association. Their findings were crazy. They found that adults that spend three or more hours a day in front of the television may double their risk of premature death. You heard me right. I said double. The risk was still apparent after they accounted for age, gender, and lifestyle factors like obesity, smoking, and diet.
Studies also showed that too much television could increase the risk of children being antisocial or have bad behavior. They said that every additional additional hour increases this risk. This study also said that it could also apply to criminal behavior. A report also said that you could get addicted. You would crave the next episode. You could end up skipping sleep.
There are more downsides to binge watching. But there are things you can do to prevent this. You could get up and go for a walk. You could take a break and do some exercises. Studies have shown that taking a break from a show will help your memory and will overall help your health.
